Sensaphone FGD-0250 Ethernet-to-WiFi Adapter

The weatherproof Ethernet-to-WiFi Adapter will connect most Sensaphone remote monitoring systems to a WiFi network. This enables users to locate a Sensaphone device close to the area or equipment being monitored – even out-of-doors. Users then avoid having to running long wires to these areas, which is expensive, time-consuming and unattractive. Sensaphone network-based products are suitable for this adapter, including the Sentinel, WEB600, IMS-1000, IMS-4000, and WSG30.

The Ethernet-to-WiFi Adapter (FGD-0250) is a high-speed, long-range outdoor 802.11n Wireless Bridge/Access Point that operates on the 2.4 GHz band and is an ideal solution for adding wireless connectivity to any wired network device.

The unit features an IP65-Rated weatherproof housing that ensures continued operation in harsh outdoor environments or in climates of extreme cold, heat, or continuous moisture.

Also included is a proprietary PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) kit comprised of a PoE injector and Power Adapter as well as a mast mount kit with binding strap.

The Ethernet to WiFi Adapter connects to the Sensaphone via an Ethernet cable up (to 300' away). The adapter connects to a wireless router via WiFi. Users program the adapter to connect with a WiFi network via downloadable software. The distance between the adapter and router is limited by the strength of the WiFi network, however, much farther distances can be achieved by using another adapter to strengthen the WiFi signal. The WAN communicates with the network and the communication proceeds as it normally would.
