The 2GIG EDGE Remote Keypad Replacement Backup Battery keeps your 2GIG EDGE Remote Keypad running in the event of AC power loss. While the 2GIG EDGE Remote Keypad runs normally on AC power from its plug-in transformer, the backup battery slowly stores power in the background. Once AC power loss occurs, the backup battery will automatically kick-in and keep the system running. The 2GIG EDGE Backup Battery can keep the 2GIG EDGE Remote Keypad operational for approximately 24 hours. The battery has an expected lifespan of at least five (5) years.

NOTE: The 2GIG EDGE Remote Keypad Replacement Backup Battery is not compatible with the mainline 2GIG EDGE Security Panels, 2GIG-EDG-NA-AA and 2GIG-EDG-NA-VA respectively.
