AprilAire 8811 Protocol Adapter for the 8870 Communicating Thermostat. The 8811 acts as a translator for the communication process to the thermostats by converting RS232 serial port communications from the PC or host computer into long distance RS485 communications used by AprilAire communicating thermostats.
