IST Auxiliary Input

Optional wall input for IntraSonic Intercom and Music Distribution Systems. Allows connection to CD or tape players, satellite radios, or computers. It includes its own treble, bass, and volume controls to deliver high-quality sound regardless of the device.

The AUXWP wall plate uses an RCA connection for another external source to be available throughout your intercom system. This source can be a CD changer, portable music device or optional radio device.

Volume control and auxiliary units use a standard single gang box, the same style as the 2-gang box. Cut a hole in the sheetrock to mount the single gang box for the volume control and auxiliary units. Before you mount the single gang box feed the Cat5 wiring through the single gang box and then mount the single gang box.

NOTE: There can only be one Auxiliary Input Unit installed per system. The integrated bay LOCAL/BROADCAST switch needs to be on local to use this source at room and patio stations.
