IST I2000 Intercom Door Station

Weather-resistant interface designed for outdoor installation in protected areas, which enables communication with the other stations for verification of guest identity before opening the door with optional door or gate release. It also includes a selection of door chimes.

The I2000D door station is designed to require some protection from the weather. It will allow communication with the master, room and patio stations and verify who is there before opening the door. With the optional door release mechanism, the door can be unlocked from any room of the home that has a room station installed.

Room, patio, and door units use a standard depth plastic 2-gang box. Typically these units will install 50 inches off the floor. The suggested manufacturer brand of the 2-gang box is Carlon, model B232 series and BH 235 series. Cut a hole in the sheetrock to mount the 2-gang boxes for the room, patio, and door units. Before you mount the 2-gang box feed the Cat5 wiring through the 2-gang box and then mount the 2-gang box. The suggested mounting for these units is 50 inches from the floor.
