Qolsys IQ Wireless Temperature Sensor

The Qolsys IQ Temp warns of severe temperature changes and detects high (~100 degrees F) or low (~40 degrees F) temperatures depending on the user's desired monitoring (i.e. freezing pipes or home comfort). Perfect as an early warning for HVAC system failure, it can help prevent harm to the elderly or infirm and pets, as well as costly damage due to freezing temperatures or excessive heat over long periods of time. Homeowners are alerted to the danger via text message and on-screen notifications on the IQ Panel. The IQ Temp uses a new antenna design enabling better performance on a variety of surfaces, including metal doors, and has a 8-10 year battery life. The IQ Temp is designed to alert you if temperatures drop below 40°F or rise above 100°F. This early warning may help you protect your valuables, pets and home from extreme heat or cold in the event of a HVAC or thermostat failure by sending an alert to your IQ Panel. You can also configure text message notifications to keep you informed when you are away from home.

NOTE: Connects to required control panel/receiver operating on wireless 319.5 MHz frequency. Compatible wireless options include: GE/Interlogix Panel (NetworX, Simon, etc.), Qolsys IQ Panel, Leviton 64-Zone Receiver for GE/Interlogix, Elk M1 Wireless Receiver for GE/Interlogix Crystal Transmitters, or other legacy 319.5 MHz system (not included). Avoid areas that may retain heat, such as furnace rooms or near hot water pipes.
