SDC Electra 7200 Series Cylindrical Lockset Eclipse Style Lever

The SDC Electra™ 7200 Series Cylindrical Lockset Eclipse Style Lever is a part of SDC's 7000 series of electrical security lever locks. 7200 series models incorporate a grade 1 cylindrical lockset and vandal resistant clutch for long lasting durability. Even when unlocked, the lock's latch does not disengage, maintaining a safely held door at all times when not in use. SDC's Electra™ 7200 series locks are designed for specific access control applications and come in two distinct variations: Fail Secure Operation and Fail Safe Operation.

The 7252 Fail Secure electric cylindrical lock function automatically unlocks the door when powered and allows for unrestricted egress/exit from the inside at all times. During power outages, the 7252 automatically locks itself unless backup battery power is connected to the lock. The 7252 is ideal for high security or restricted access applications, preventing unwanted personnel or visitors from freely entering a select room but allowing for unblocked exits.

The 7250 Fail Safe electric cylindrical lock function automatically locks the door when powered but allows for unrestricted egress/exit from the inside at all times. If the 7250 is connected to a security system hub or fire safety command center, the lock can be programmed to unlock in emergency situations. The 7250 is ideal for perimeter or exterior doors, safeguarding the building from intrusions while guaranteeing an exit route at all times.

Additionally, both model variations are capable of working with request-to-enter systems when properly wired and powered.
