Product Description

The UCS Vega AC Series Centered Chain Orientation Actuator is ideal for the automation of awning or hopper windows, skylights, or curtain wall vents. It can be installed in commercial, institutional and residential projects, including schools, universities, municipal buildings, offices, gymnasiums, homes, condos, and more. Natural ventilation systems, such as operable windows and skylights, save energy and lower operating costs by reducing air conditioning and heating use.

  • Vega actuators are for awning windows, casement windows, hoppers, curtain wall vents, and skylights
  • Multiple vents can be wired in parallel and can be operated by building automation systems
  • 12-inch (300mm) chain operator; self-adjusting for proper closure at installation
  • The operator has stainless steel, double-link chain for rigidity and durability
  • Examples of 66 lbs operating force: 48-inch tall/422 lb. vent or a 132 lb. skylight. (with 15" chain)
  • Low-profile, attractive aluminum case; available in Black, White or Grey paint
  • The minimum sash height is 10-inches
  • Two-year UCS manufacturer's warranty (requires reading AFI Install Guide before purchase, and confirmation of project and installation specs by the licensed electrical contractor)
