2GIG Wireless Outdoor Contact Sensor
The 2GIG Wireless Outdoor Contact Sensor communicates with the control panel using the 345 MHz frequency. When the magnet (which is mounted near the sensor) moves away from or closer to the door contact's sensor, signals are transmitted to the control panel. The sensor also has an external input that accepts connections from Normally Closed (NC) dry contact devices. For added protection, it is also equipped with a cover and wall tamper.
- Sensor enables a wide gap (2 inch) enabling sensing for applications from yard gates, and swimming pool access to detached garages
- Designed for extreme weather conditions (IP56, -40° to 150° F)
- Sends a notification to the alarm panel when a door, gate or window is opened or closed
- Enables two unique zones, one is for an internal magnetic reed switch while the second is for a normally-closed circuit that can have external devices wired to it
- Can be painted to match its mounting surface
In The Box:
- Outdoor Sensor
- Magnet
- (2) Lithium AA Batteries
- Mounting Screws
Notes: Requires connection to a compatible control panel/receiver (2GIG, Honeywell, 345MHz compatible, sold separately). For remote monitoring using a smartphone, requires the Alarm.com app (subscription required). Mount the Sensor within 100 feet (30 m) of the control panel for optimal performance. The preferred mounting distance between the Sensor and Magnet is 1/4 inch. The maximum gap is 2 inches.
