Global Cache Global Connect, GC4 w/ PoE, Serial x2

Built with performance, flexibility, and empowering in mind, Global Connect's design is based on open systems to work with any control software or hardware, delivering a simple cost-effective way to extend the reach of any control system. Global Connect is the next generation for IP connectivity and control. The Global Connect is comprised of three elements: the chassis, the number of slots per chassis, and installed modules. The Global Caché Global Connect GC4 with PoE and Serial x2 includes two RS232 serial ports and PoE connectivity.

Bi-directional Serial RS232:

• Connects RS232 devices to the network and other serial devices
• Each RS232 interface includes a male DTE (Data Terminal Equipment) DB9 connector

The Global Connect uses an online web tool to configure settings for each installed module. Download and run Global Caché's iHelp program to configure the Global Connect. The program will detect the individual IP addresses for each of the modules installed. Select the module you wish to adjust settings for and apply the relevant changes.
