Global Cache Global Connect, GC4 w/ Serial, CC Relays

Built with performance, flexibility, and empowering in mind, Global Connect's design is based on open systems to work with any control software or hardware, delivering a simple cost-effective way to extend the reach of any control system. Global Connect is the next generation for IP connectivity and control. The Global Connect is comprised of three elements: the chassis, the number of slots per chassis, and installed modules. The Global Caché Global Connect GC4 with Serial & CC Relays includes an RS232 serial port and 6 contact closure relays.

Bi-directional Serial RS232:

• Connects RS232 devices to the network and other serial devices
• Each RS232 interface includes a male DTE (Data Terminal Equipment) DB9 connector

6 Contact Closure Relays:

• External devices are connected via 1x6 push-release terminal blocks
• Simple dry contact triggers a relay event by controlling power delivery to voltage or contact inputs
• To switch a relay, press the desired ports toggle to turn it On or Off and the relay will change to the set state

The Global Connect uses an online web tool to configure settings for each installed module. Download and run Global Caché's iHelp program to configure the Global Connect. The program will detect the individual IP addresses for each of the modules installed. Select the module you wish to adjust settings for and apply the relevant changes.
