The Optex InSight HX-80N Visual Verification Camera and PIR Detector offers a secondary visual verification solution combining outdoor PIR detection with a security camera. Alerts are only triggered when both the camera and PIR detector's fields of view have been crossed by a subject. The PIR detector is dual shielded from environmental factors like direct sunlight, strong wind, or heavy rain/snow and features small animal tolerance technology to reduce nuisance alerts or false alarms. The InSight also simplifies the installation process by matching the camera and sensor field of views, while providing wide and narrow detection range options. The InSight Visual Verification Camera and PIR Detector is ONVIF compliant and can directly connect to the OPTEX Visual Verification Bridge, as well as any DVR, NVR or VMS.

The Optex Visual Verification Camera and PIR Detector is compatible with the Optex Vision App, which allows users to to see real time feeds from their connected security cameras, receive notifications from triggered cameras or sensors, and review recorded footage saved on compatible DVR or NVR devices. Users may also utilize the app to adjust device settings and configurations.
