Russound BTC-2X Bluetooth Remote Transceiver

The Russound BTC-2X Bluetooth Remote Transceiver is a unique Bluetooth audio device that adds Bluetooth wireless audio streaming to Russound and 3rd party audio systems. Its Bluetooth 5.1 radio provides high quality audio at distances up to 65' (20m) indoors and up to 195' (60m) outdoors. When added to a 3rd party audio system or amplifier, the Transceiver connects via a 3.5mm cable or contact closure relay. The contact closure connection enables at-will activation/deactivation of Bluetooth pairing to control when Bluetooth audio streaming is allowed. Local keypad or pushbutton controllers are compatible with contact closure relay connection.

The BTC-2X unlocks its full functionality when added to a Russound MCA-66 or MCA-88 controlled audio system, including PoE connection up to 500ft, metadata and local control sharing with Russound controllers and mobile apps, and coordinate with additional BTC-2X and a BTC-2 Audio Hub for up to 8
