ELK M1 Keypad Conduit Wall Box

The M1KCWB Elk M1 Keypad Conduit Wall Box is a two-piece, surface mount metal wall box designed to house either an ELK-M1KP or ELK-M1KP2 Keypad. It features 1/2" and 3/4" electrical conduit knockouts, along with various mounting holes on the front that permit versatile mounting of the Elk keypads. The box is useful in any installation where your Elk M1 Keypad requires surface mounting and can't run or conceal connected wiring within the structure's walls.

To install the wall box:

First separate the metal backplate from the front cover. Place the backplate against the wall, making certain it is level and mark the location of the 4 mounting holes. Next, predrill the wall surface and secure the backplate using screws and/or plastic anchors (not included). Orient the front cover so that the holes match up with the necessary mounting holes on the Keypad backplate and secure with the supplied type "F" flat head screws. Secure the keypad back plate onto the wall box using at least 4 screws (not included). Finally, Connect the conduit, then complete the wiring and installation of the Keypad.

NOTE: For the M1KP Keypad the longer side should be mounted horizontally and for the M1KP2 Keypad the longer side should be mounted vertically.
