Dakota Alert Solar Break Beam Transmitter
The Dakota Alert Solar Break Beam Transmitter is a pair of solar powered wireless infrared break beam sensors that report to a paired Dakota Alert 4000 series receiver when a subject moves between the sensors, interrupting the beam. The infrared sensors can be mounted up to 300 feet apart from each other and are capable of sending a signal to a paired DCR-4000 receiver up to a mile away anytime someone passes between the sensors. The break beam sensors are powered by lithium ion batteries (included) that are recharged through the solar panels during the day to ensure nighttime operation and eliminate worry for low or depleted batteries. Because the unit is self powered there is no need to run wires for power. Installation time can be as little as a few minutes.
