It has a 350 ft wireless operating range, volume control, and adds another layer of security to prevent stolen mail. Everything is needed for installation, including a battery and double-sided tape. The Mail Chime only works with curbside, wall mount and the slot type mailboxes. It does NOT work on extra-large metal curbside, aluminum, or locking mailboxes. Also not for cluster-type mailboxes with vertical hinges.
