Optex 26 Ft. Range Microwave Vehicle Presence Sensor with Car Counting

The Optex OVS-01CC 26' Range Microwave Vehicle Presence Sensor with Car Counting detects the presence of moving or stationary vehicles. It also has the ability to ignore human movement and uses doppler shift and FMCW technologies to count cars. Unlike other vehicle sensors, it installs above the ground, eliminating the need for cutting concrete and installing a ground loop. The OVS-01CC can be mounted 2 to 3 feet off the ground and can detect both small and large vehicles. Its detection area can be customized with 8 range settings, 5 sensitivity settings and one-touch calibration, plus, it has 5 selectable menu setting options to ignore human movement. An easy to use menu with visual indicators provides a simple and quick installation.

• The sensor can count moving vehicles by using dual detection technologies: Doppler shift and FMCW (Frequency-Modulated Continuous-Wave)
• Detection of objects other than a vehicle can be reduced
• Built-in heater reduces snow on the sensor (automatically activates based on the outside air temperature)

NOTE: Always install the sensor on the vertical pole that is mounted in or on the ground. Installing a sensor on a tilted pole will result in a detection of the ground by the ultrasonic sensor and correct operation is not ensured.
