The Optex BX Shield Outdoor Boundary Detector, Anti-Masking Model is ideal for providing reliable detection of windows and immediate boundary areas of your property. It includes four PIRs (two on each side of the unit) that have a detection range of up to 80ft total (40ft per side). Each side's sensitivity can be adjusted independently for high-performing flexibility.

Featuring SMDA logic (Super Multidimensional Analysis), the BX Shield Detector improves immunity against changes in temperature or moving vegetation, which helps to distinguish between false alarms and real intrusions. The BXS also excels in environments where the temperature difference between the human body and the background is very small, due to its extreme high detection mode increasing the PIR sensitivity, preventing any missed alarms.
