Skylink Smart Button Garage Door Opener & Keypad Entry Kit

The KN1 Skylink Smart Button Garage Door Opener & Keypad Entry Kit contains the KN-318 Skylink Garage Door Keyless Entry System and the GB-318 Skylink Smart Button Garage Door Control. Together these devices add two methods of accessing your garage door: outdoor keyless passcode entry and remote control via up to 16 remote controllers.

The KN-318 can operate garage doors connected to a single Skylink garage door opener or receiver. If you have multiple Skylink garage door openers or Smart Button receivers, the Keypad can be set up to operate multiple doors, maximum up to 4 doors. The Keypad accepts 2-8 digit passcodes to allow keyless access to the garage door. If 10 incorrect passcodes are inputted, the Keypad will lockout future attempts for 10 minutes.

The Smart Button Garage Door Opener is designed to work with Skylink garage door transmitters and either replaces or works in tandem with existing garage door opener buttons. The Smart Button can connect with up to 16 Skylink remote controllers, including the Skylink Keypad or Keychain Transmitter. The Smart Button uses Rolling Code technology, which prevents it from using an easily captured/replicated wireless signal that could be used by intruders to enter the garage. Each time a compatible Skylink transmitter communicates with the Smart Button, a different code is generated which can only be recognized by the Smart Button.
