The Ezlo Z-Wave Plus Smart Thermostat, 800 Series brings precision control and energy efficiency to heating and cooling systems. This touchscreen thermostat is capable of controlling single or multi-stage HVAC and heat pump systems, including systems with up to 3 stages of heating and 2 stages of cooling. The thermostat is also capable of controlling water heaters. The thermostat has a built-in temperature sensor to detect nearby ambient temperature to assist in efficiently managing your indoor environment. The thermostat can set up to 4 unique temperature time periods per day for every day of the week to keep your home at a comfortable temperature based on your schedule.

Control the thermostat using the device's touchscreen controls or through the MiOS app for mobile devices. From the app, you can configure settings, change temperature set points, and set temperature schedules. You can also include the Smart Thermostat into a Z-Wave network to coordinate it with other Z-Wave devices into smart scenes to automatically activate in response to preset triggers. Set the thermostat to a higher temperature after you leave the house and no motion is detected to reduce energy usage while you are away, and trigger the thermostat to lower the temperature when you unlock your front door or at a preset time. This thermostat includes Z-Wave 800 software, which provides the thermostat with compatibility with all existing Z-Wave devices, plus extended wireless relay range, three layers of encryption, faster operation, and longer battery life compared to older Z-Wave versions.
