The Napco StarLink MAX 2 Dual SIM/Dual Path Universal 5G Commercial Fire Alarm Communicator ensures that fire alarm signals are transmitted securely and efficiently, using both cellular and IP communication paths. This communication radio module utilizes Napco's Dual Path technology to ensure continuous online connection with emergency responders and your mobile device via 2 SIM cards for AT&T and Verizon's 5G cellular networks or your local IP network and one of the 5G cellular networks. The Communicator's unique Dual Path technology allows the device to periodically (or on demand) switch between two active networks based on the stronger signal strength to guarantee communication between your security system and emergency contacts. If an IP or cellular network is detected to be down, the Communicator will automatically swap to the other channel until the initial network connection is online again. The Communicator is backwards compatible with all major fire alarm control units (FACUs), including those that communicate using Contact ID and 4/2.
