The Shelly Wave i4 US Multi-Touch Control Module, Z-Wave 800 & Z-Wave LR is a versatile input reader control module designed to turn a multi-input switch or group of switches into a local controller for Z-Wave automations and scenes within your home or business. Up to 4 On/Off or multi-input switches can be paired with the Wave i4 US to allow you to activate multiple Z-Wave commands or scenes per individual switch, reaching up to 16 automations. On/Off Switches can control groups of devices, individual devices, or trigger a specific automated scene. Multi-touch switches that support Double Press, Hold, and/or Hold and Release inputs can command dimmable lights, motorized windows or blinds, or use the additional inputs to trigger On/Off commands for devices or scenes. The i4 US allows anyone in your home or business to command preprogrammed Z-Wave functions without relying on a single user to issue commands or share access from a mobile device. This compact Z-Wave input reader module fits into the electrical box behind a wall switch.

The Wave i4 US is compatible with both Z-Wave 800 and Z-Wave LR wireless protocols to ensure reliable signal performance, greater encryption protection, and wide compatibility with most Z-Wave compatible smart home platforms. As a Z-Wave LR compatible device, it pairs directly with a Z-Wave LR compatible hub in order to communicate across extreme ranges. Z-Wave LR devices do not utilize other Z-Wave nodes as signal repeaters.

Use the Shelly Smart Control mobile application, or the mobile app of a connected Z-Wave hub or controller, to issue remote Activate/Deactivate/On/Off commands to the Wave i4 US and its controlled devices on demand or program the Wave i4 US to switch On/Off in response to preprogrammed triggers or at scheduled time of day.
