The Optex FLX-S-ST Indoor PIR Detector provides reliable and accurate infrared motion detection within indoor spaces. The FLX-S-ST Indoor PIR Detector is a part of Optex's FlipX Series of indoor PIR detectors. The FlipX Series detectors are equipped with a unique pyroelectric element and rotatable lens technology that provides highly accurate motion detection and an easily configurable design to tailor the detection pattern to suit the specific layout of your room. The detection pattern and total monitored area can be adjusted from 85° wide (40ft by 40ft) for covering large open spaces, to only 5° wide (6ft by 60ft) for covering long narrow passages or windows by removing the case and flipping the lens 180°. The Indoor PIR Detector's detection pyroelectric elements are also reshaped to better track human-sized movement and ignore movement caused by animals or random objects.
