Resideo L1 Wi-Fi Water Leak and Freeze Detector

The Resideo L1 WiFi Water Leak Detector works with the Resideo L5 Actuator (sold separately) to provide 24/7 monitoring of leaks or frozen pipes. As soon as it detects water, it will send wireless alerts to the L5 Actuator so that it could automatically shut off the flow of water at a home's water main. When it detects frozen pipes, it will send notifications via the Resideo App (for iOS or Android) to your smartphone so you can fix the issue before your pipes burst and potentially cause a flood. It also provides visual and audible alerts for added awareness because it's designed with a built-in LED and 100 dBA alarm. Attached to the L1 is a 5 foot cable sensor that uses its entire length to detect water leaks and frozen conditions. Up to 30 L1 Leak Detectors can be paired with one L5 Actuator and you can connect multiple 5 Ft. sensor cables together by up to 500 Ft., allowing you to expand water leak coverage to multiple locations in your home. Additionally, you can reuse the 5 foot cable sensor after it has detected water by allowing it to completely dry before reconnecting it to the detector.
